Memory and Human Rights Interdisciplinary Research Program

This interdisciplinary research program involves different academic departments of Alberto Hurtado University. It addresses the issue of past human rights violations and memory processes in Latin America in relation to the formation of subjectivities, discourses and social practices, using different approaches in the political, legal, psychological, sociological, literary and artistic fields.

The program carries out collective and interdisciplinary research, links up studies with the relevant expertise, organizes activities and participates in national and international networks in order to analyze the formation of a complex field through a variety of actors, communities and forms of representation and social incidence and to contribute to its development and strengthening.
